1- Reflect on what you’re thankful for.
We all have so much to be thankful for, but more often we stress what we don’t have. It’s a totally normal human response, but we can train our brains to think differently. Keeping a gratitude journal is one way to do this. By writing down what we are thankful for we realize how much we truly have already.
2- Take a time out.
When kids are acting crazy, you give them a time out. When you life gets a little crazy, you need the time out. Think about what is stressing you the most. Is it family, your job, your relationship or are you just overwhelmed by everything? If seeing other people’s “perfect” lives on Facebook in bothering you, take a social media vacation.
